Find Your Wholeness
Editor’s Note – Find Your Wholeness
Namita pours her heart out in her quest to help you find your wholeness and realize your limitless potential. She questions the fundamentals of the premise on which we live our lives and doesn’t stop there. She urges you to search within to move to You Version 2.0. Only if you look within, can you bring about the paradigm shift from your mess to your message, and find your wholeness!
Whose Life Is It Anyway?
The very meaning of life, success and growth has changed. Mostly we get identified by which house you are living in, which car you drive, how much money you have and where you go for vacation. Your Instagram and Facebook accounts have more friends than you have in reality. People buy ‘likes’ to get valued and get known. Children adore the fake role models of current age whose image and identity is created by marketing campaigns to be projected to the world. We spend hours glued to cell phone, thereby killing the creativity and ignoring our health, and endangering own self and society. We are unconsciously consuming data which is not needed, comparing our lives to that of others, and believing in showing off rather than working on oneself.
Unconscious thinking, believing and doing are creating hurdles in our personal growth. This is killing our own potential to grow and impact the world. While doing so, we all are missing life! Life is merely happening to many of us because we live in an accidental world where life just means mere living. That is not what we were born for! Our pain does not define us. Our clothes, car, house, mistakes, failure don’t define us either. But we take life as granted for so long that it feels normal to us.
Why not find your wholeness?
Why is everyone not thriving and why are our teens always looking outward for validation? We always feel wanted to be validated, but why? Why are we just living a mediocre life believing in our limited self? Why are we limiting our perception? Why are we not looking to do extraordinary things that we are born for? And, why are you not doing enough to find your wholeness?
Well, it’s our conditioning by the society we live in! Growth always comes from within, from our own calling. Growth comes from finding our pain and from finding our purpose. How much aware are we about things that matter in our own life – our thinking, growth and vision? How many times do you stop, listen to what your body, mind and soul is saying to you?
Your journey starts when you realize your own self and break the habit of being the old self. It starts when you create your new personality and a new self! Growth happens when we are in difficult situations. Life throws you difficulties so that you can understand and learn the lessons you need to learn. Easy times makes a person weaker and difficult times build stronger personality.
Your Response to Life
What you do with life is: You feel broken, fragile, guilty, vulnerable to everything around you. You play victim and helpless. You continue to live with invalid assumptions.
Do you actually listen to your emotions and what they are trying to tell you?
We all have some or the other excuse for not standing for ourselves, not taking responsibility, and not taking actions that matter!
My Initial Approach to Life
I was the one to do the same… I was no different from anyone else. Self-sabotaging thoughts were so powerful within me, that I couldn’t hear my soul calling the purpose of my life. Unimaginably guilty feelings always lingered in my mind. I was actually wearing a mask of a good person, whereas I was born for being unlimited!
One question we all need to ask ourselves, “What is it exactly that I want in my life”? Is it the car, house, love, career, million dollars or is it impact? I had never asked this to myself and was aimlessly drawn towards every shiny thing that I saw. It is very much evident that if we do not stand for something we love, then we are going to fall for every shiny object around us!
The Questions That Helped Me Discover Myself
Then I asked myself these questions
Who am I?
What do I stand for?
What do I want to do in my life?
Questioning myself made me deal with and overcome confusion. It was then that the magic started, because these questions are simple yet profound. I have asked these questions enough number of times to get the answer. I desperately wanted to know the answer and my calling. The goal was to get unstuck from my limitations and understand my inner being.
At this stage, my questions changed from why me…to How? The whole paradigm shifted for me!
My confusion got cleared, My pain turned into my strength. Self-assassination stopped, The self-sabotaging, victim mindset shifted.
My world altered to the extent that I had a clear vision for myself. The vision was powerful, fearless, full of forgiveness, full of compassion and wise too! I have seen people struggle to find this strength and courage for their whole life. However, I was lucky enough to adopt an owner mindset and find the wholeness in my life early enough.
How to Find Your Wholeness?
Have you ever asked these questions to yourself? Ask yourself enough times to get the answer. This will help you realize your inner being and alter your whole life. And, it will help you find your wholeness. It is your responsibility to claim it.
If your life is falling apart, things are not working the way you want, it means that you have taken your life for granted.
So the question is, do you want the shift?
Consciously asking questions that matter, for you, can make your life different! It is the time to ask yourself these amazing questions to uncover your limitless potential. Unconscious behavior can only lead to mess. If you are already broken, and even if life has left scars on you, remember that the scar is the place, where the light enters, as the famous 13th-century Persian poet Rumi said:
The wound is the place where the light enters you.
Rumi
Emerge, Evolve and find your wholeness!
Let your purpose of life become bigger than your problems and struggles. Be grateful and give gratitude. Let yourself fly high through the lens of future. Create a vision of life which wakes you up every single day with an excitement to build it and bring it to reality.
We human beings are far more powerful than we know and realize. When you find that potential, you will be unstoppable. Drop your resistance to show the world the real you, your real magnificent self, including your mess! Or rather as is said in the book Everybody’s Got Something:
Make your mess your message.
― Robin Roberts
Why The Facade?
By wearing a facade, playing too small and living someone else’s life, you are prioritizing everything that should not be in your agenda. You are absolutely living the life that is perfect for society, taught by your school, teachers, preachers, society and community. They all have an agenda to control you and limit you. Everything around us makes us believe that life is limited. We learn playing small and not taking enough chances, from the society that we live in. In every corner there is someone to tell you how you cannot succeed, how you cannot ask for more, and how you should not achieve more.
We also start living within a self-imposed glass ceiling. Living within our limited self, doing everyday chores and living a mediocre life. We all fall into the trap of comfort. We feel good to be comfortable and do not try getting outside of our comfort zone. Our pattern and habits are so predictable that we can spend our whole life without doing anything new.
Realization
What if you could be immensely creative, Be the best expression of yourself every day. What if you truly knew that you are born for a greater thing, And deeply believed in yourself.
From Realization to Results
Let there be no more facade to hide your own self to get accepted by others. Start living life on your own terms. Show your true self and make your message heard. Accepting your own self can be so much liberating from all the society’s assumptions and shackles. Be free from expectations and work towards your own vision and goals to make that impact and influence which you want to bring into the world. So, start asking the questions to find your wholeness and follow-up with action to emerge from your old self to your new self.
Remember that your realization is not enough to end the misery and evolve. It is your commitment, setting your priorities, setting your values, vision and building thereon that counts. Claiming your life’s vision, mission and message have an immense power to emerge, blossom and evolve your wholeness.
A powerful being you are, A magnificent self, An unfiltered person, A wholeness meant to be realized.
